Home School Creators
At Wild Way we believe children grow in confidence when they’re trusted to do more.
To use real tools. Tackle bigger ideas. Make their own creative decisions. Get things wrong, change direction and discover what happens when they try again.
Home School Creators is a fun, hands-on space designed to empower children to explore what they’re capable of. Nurturing curiosity, independence and the creative confidence to back their own ideas.
WHAT’S IN STORE FOR TERM 4?
A little peek at some of what we’ll be exploring this term…
Woodworking — real tools, timber, construction + a pretty epic mini build.
Pattern + printmaking — designing and printing our own patterns, while exploring how hand-drawn elements can be taken into Adobe Illustrator and transformed into seamless repeating designs
Sculpture — experimenting with wire, plaster, paper, fabric, form + found materials.
Cardboard construction — thinking BIG with a collaborative build created together.
The Junk Yard — old tech, timber offcuts, recycled bits + unexpected materials transformed into weird and wonderful inventions.
Watercolour — a deeper dive into washes, layering, colour + beautifully watery techniques.
Clay — sculpting, texture + a little festive making as Christmas approaches.
Wearable art — taking art off the page and turning it into something entirely unexpected.
Plus plenty of painting, building, experimenting, problem-solving and creative freedom along the way.
New materials. Real techniques. Big ideas. And a few surprises we’re keeping to ourselves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not quite — Wild Way Studio is designed as a creative exploration experience rather than a step-by-step art class.
Instead of all children being guided through the same activity, the studio is set up with a range of open-ended creative stations for children and their grown-ups to explore together at their own pace. Children are encouraged to follow their curiosity, move freely between experiences, and create in their own unique way.
Our art facilitator will gently float throughout the session to support, encourage, and inspire where needed, while allowing families the freedom to explore and create together without pressure or perfect outcomes.
-
We recommend wearing comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy. While we use washable materials where possible, creativity can sometimes travel beyond the easel. Smocks are provided for children, but paint-covered hands and happy little messes are all part of the fun.
-
Just yourselves! We provide all materials and setup. Children simply arrive ready to slow down, explore, create, and enjoy
-
Yes , we carefully choose child-friendly, non-toxic materials wherever possible and all activities are designed with young children in mind. As many classes include sensory and hands-on experiences, adult supervision is required at all times to help ensure materials are used safely.

Our classes are designed to be open-ended and child-led, with a variety of creative and sensory stations suitable for different ages, interests, and abilities. Some stations may include tools and materials such as child-safe chopping tools, loose parts, paint, clay, or sensory materials.
Our art facilitator will float throughout the session to support, encourage, and help where needed, while allowing children the freedom to explore, create, and engage at their own pace.
